Lily Morgan LeBlanc Funeral services were held Saturday, March 10, 2001, at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice for Lily M. LeBlanc, 95, the former Lily Morgan, who died Thursday, March 8, 2001 at 1O:25 a.m. in the Magnolia Place Nursing Home. Entombment was in the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum. The Rev. Martin C. Leonards, pastor of St. Alphonsus Church, was the celebrant of the Funeral Mass and conducted the services. Survivors include one daughter, Marie Louise Noonan of Houston, Texas; one son, John A. LeBlanc of Maurice; seven grandchildren, Thomas LeBlanc, Kenneth LeBlanc, Renee Dupre, Gregory LeBlanc, Judy Hulbert, Clarie Noonan and Michael Noonan; 11 great-grandchildren, Keri L. Aucoin, Cody LeBlanc, Ryan LeBlanc, Colin LeBlanc, McKinzie Dupre, Mariah LeBlanc, Katherine Hulbert, James Hulbert, Peter Noonan, Rachael Noonan and Rebecca Noonan; one great-great-grandson, Cameron Aucoin; and one brother, Leo Morgan of Pasadena, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elie LeBlanc; her parents; one sister, Dorothy Davidson; and three brothers, Clyde, Archie and Curly Morgan. A native of Rayne and a resident of Maurice for most of her life, Mrs. LeBlanc was the daughter of the late Leon Morgan and the former Alicia Mire, both natives of Rayne. She was a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Community and the St. Alphonsus Ladies Altar Society. A rosary was prayed Friday night in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Mrs. LeBlanc’s name may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 20Q Lafayette In. 70503. Pallbearers were Thomas LeBlanc, Gregory LeBlanc, Kenneth LeBlanc, Cody LeBlanc, Michael Noonan and Scott Dupre. Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin & Castille Funeral Home, nc. of Lafayette, 234-2311.
