Obituary published in The Advocate on: 5/2/01 LEBLANC, LAUREN MARIE A fifth-grade student at Trinity Episcopal Day School, she died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, Fla. She was 10, a resident of Greenwell Springs and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Road, from 11:30 a.m. until a Mass celebrating her life and love at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Tom Duhé and the Rev. Ralph Howe. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her parents, Eba III and Pam LeBlanc, Greenwell Springs; two brothers, Justin and Taylor LeBlanc, both of Greenwell Springs; maternal grandparents, Clarence Sr. and Jeanette Folse, Harvey; paternal grandparents, Eba Jr. and Claudia LeBlanc, Houma; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Octave and Eugenie Perry; paternal great-grandparents, Eba Sr. and Laura LeBlanc; and a cousin, Kevin Domingue. Pallbearers will be Justin LeBlanc, Joe Bergeron, Lynn Guidry, Dean Guidry, Clarence Folse Jr., Ken Folse and Gary Bossenmeyer. The family sends special thanks to Dr. Michael Coogan for the love and care he has given Lauren throughout her life.
