George Roy LeBlanc 
Funeral services were held at 10 am April 11, 200 at St. Michael Catholic Church
for George Roy LeBlanc, 89, who died at 4:10 am. Monday April 10th 200.
at the Landmark Retirement Center in Crowley.  Father Aaron Melancon officiated
for the services.  Burial was held in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Rayne.
Survivors include one daughter and her husband Elane L and Ashton Cassedy of 
Crowley, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Chavuin LeBlanc and his parents Mr. and Mrs.
Moise LeBlanc and his sister Rena Leblanc.
Mr. LeBlanc was a retired farmer of Acadia Parish and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Pallbearers were Leonard L. Leonards, Fredrick Gossen, Samuel Theunissen,
Robert Hanks, Bryan Leonards, Charles Bier Sr..  Honoary pallbearers were Eugene
Wagner, Johnny Fruge, Charles Bier Sr and Donald John.
In lieu of flowers the family said donations may be made to Hospice of Acadiana, Inc.
in George Roy LeBlanc's name.  Geesey  Fergerson Funeral home of Crowley is in charge
of arrangements.
