Difficult to make out the first name on this
grave but you can tell it is a Beattie.
Euphan? Beatty.....Anderson in Mid..burn, the
... April 1881, aged ... years. Two of their
children who died ..... Also the foresaid
Thomas Anderson wo died November 11th 1803
aged 52 years and Jean Rendwick his second
spouse who died February 6th 1828 aged 70.

Beloved wife of Andrew Anderson, wo died
at Boreland 11th August 1914 aged 72 years
The above Andrew Anderson who died at
Rockleave, 7th April 1919 aged 86 years




Agnes Beattie wife of John Hyslop who
died at Johnston 6th March 1881 aged 65
years. Also James Hyslop, their
son who died 6th December 1863 aged
17 years, also Walter, their son who
died at Peebles 5th May 1889 aged 58
years. The above John Hyslop who died
at Newhall, Traquair 18th December 1895
aged 85 years



"Spouse to the late pious and
much respected Adam Murray who lived
and died at Castleton. She departed
this life at Lanshaburn 14 September
1819 aged 78 years Likewise, Janet Murray,
daughter to John Murray, sheperd
in Lanshaburn who died 5 April 1812
aged 4 years and George Murray, his son
who died 30th June 1823 aged 10 months.
Esther Murray his daughter born at Lanshurn
12 August 1826, died 5 August 1836.
The said John Murray who died Langshawburn
1st April 1819 aged 70 years. Also
Ester Cowan who died at Langshawburn 4th
August 1856 aged 75 years
